“Absolute best seamstress to work with. Kind, efficient, and quick. Went above and beyond what was expected. She is absolutely wonderful!!!” ~ Sara P.
This sleek navy sheath gown required hemming in the front. She was planning on only wearing her evening shoes for pictures, so it was hemmed to graze the floor while barefoot and dancing the night away. Added structure in the bodice for support and to ensure the cowl neckline laid beautifully.
“Ordered my dress online using my measurements and it came in several sizes too small. Vanessa was able to create a corset back which solved the problem!” ~ Chloe S
Added a corset back for the perfect fit. Since Chloe went to a very conservative Christian school, the dress code required a solid modesty panel, but she didn’t want solid satin because she loved the look of the open corsetry. A removable flesh tone panel was the perfect solution. All dress layers required hemming in the front. Because it was during Covid social distancing and masks were required for part of the event, a matching mask was created complete with lace and beading.
"You did an amazing job for a great price! We couldn't have been more pleased, thank you V!!!!" ~Sunny W.

This young man's tux arrived last minute and 3 sizes too large. Jacket, vest, and trousers required taking in and hemming. Left plenty of seam allowance to accommodate growth and future alterations.
“I finally found a dress that I loved but naturally at 5’3” and with a small frame the dress though beautiful looked like I was playing dress up. I had very little time to have it altered. I reached out to Vanessa and she got me in right away. She set me at ease and I can’t believe she got it fitted and ready so fast. I felt so confident wearing the dress that night. Thank you! I definitely will be returning in the future anytime I need something altered. “ ~T Morrow
Hem with horsehair braid through sweep train, took up shoulders.
Hemmed this liquid platinum gown similar to the original, but corrected the rippling.
Grandmother of the bride’s vintage dress from her daughter’s wedding. Sleeves were too long and the dated beaded center accent was refreshed into a removable rosette pin. Softened the shoulder pads and draping. Ensured the left-over buttons were secured inside the lining side seam as well as additional beads for the rosette for future mending needs.
“Vanessa did an amazing job on my daughter’s dresses for our vow renewal. One of their dresses needed added coverage due to being pregnant and moved the waste line up to accommodate her growing belly! My other daughter had to have her dress taken up in the shoulder area as well as hemmed. Vanessa made each of them fit perfectly for their body and they looked beautiful. Thank you for the hard work you put into adding to our girls’ beautiful dresses work for each of them!” ~A. Hunt
This bridesmaid was all smiles at her pickup appointment! She received the wrong size dress with no time to replace, so the side seams were let out as well as resetting and shortening the back center zipper. The shoulder strap was adjusted accordingly. The excess fabric from the hem was then used for the corset to complete the fit. She's ready to dance at the reception!
